![]() A basic example is the bounty runes are going to spawn every 5 minutes. What I mean by this is that there are things that are going to happen at a certain time in every game no matter how the game is going. Especially at lower levels where people hate to cross the river this can sometimes force the order to change (for example if you have no wards or presence in the enemy jungle after taking Offlane/Mid T1 then it’s going to be dangerous to push either T2 there.Ī basic concept in dota is that the clock tells you what to do in the game. I’d note that some of these work because your team is being aggressive in their positioning by seizing the enemy jungle. But that’s the general order for tower taking in terms of gaining the most map control for the least risk. Sometimes the order gets a bit scrambled due to moments of opportunity (we just won a fight in mid, so we’re taking a tower there or maybe a lane just dominates and takes their tower early). After that is Offlane T2 and then Mid T2. Once Offlane T1 is dead you can swing through the enemy jungle behind it to gank and push same as above.ģ) If you’re playing Radiant than Offlane T2/Mid T2 are kind of equal targets, with Safelane T1 being a third target with slightly lower priority (but because it’s easier to attack it sometimes gets killed first).Ĥ) If you’re playing Dire than Safelane T1 is next (since it’s close to Rosh). This one is also really easy to gank with a group and then immediately push afterwards.Ģ) Mid T1. Generally the order I see in my games (speaking from the perspective of the team taking towers):ġ) Offlane T1. Therefore my question is this: ideally what is the correct order in which you should take objectives (and why) and how do you exploit your temporary advantage and drag teammates with you to take said ovjectives and win the game quickly? the enemy team has an anti-mage, a pa or so). I know this isn't right, especially because it drags games to the later stage and, depending on the lineup, that might be a bad idea (e.g. What I see happening all the time in my bracket (~600mmr): usually the currently winning team takes the t1 mid tower and one of the other t1's and then basically the game stalls and people only depush waves and farm their side of the map until someone is caught out of position alone and the other team has a temporary advantage that let's them take objectives. I am a relatively new player in Dota 2 (started at the end of Juli 2019) and would like to improve at the game mostly on a strategic level. /r/noobsoftheancient - Play with and against other new players.Learndota on Mumble Learndota on Steam Learndota on Discord Related Subreddits Reports are NOT for people you disagree with.
